Dee Dixon

Delitha (Dee) Dixon is a dedicated wife, mother, and helping professional. Early on she discovered her passion for helping others experiencing grief and life difficulties. As an adult navigating her own relationships, and also witnessing the demise of marriages and families around her, she began her search for a way to contribute to the wellness of individuals and families.

Along with her husband, Dee has been providing counseling to premarital and married couples for over 10 years with the goal of helping couples and families achieve their God-given potential to live healthy and whole lives. She is also endorsed and ordained in counseling ministry and chaplaincy. Dee is an experienced clinical hospital chaplain, having trained and worked in adult and pediatric ICU units, labor/delivery, high risk perinatal, and the pediatric emergency and trauma department. She also has specific experience in working with perinatal loss, palliative care, and end-of-life psycho-social-spiritual support. Dee completed her hospital residency at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA, which she holds dear to her heart as one of the most formative experiences of her ministry and career.

Dee believes that people can achieve and heal when they receive genuine compassion and support from others willing to journey with them. She holds the scripture in Rom. 12:15 close to her heart, "Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep".
